Dam Shut Down

Today a group district members worked together in perfect harmony to fix the log barrier, cut and clear the shrubs and willows from the dam face and clean the trash from in front of the trash gates.  The lake was at 8 foot 5 inches.  The center gate of the dam was set at 6 inches while the north and south gates are closed.  The people present today were:  Dave and Clancy Kanski, Aaron Wilson and his nephew Nathan, Richard Hulen, Rudy Paravicini, Harvey Norris, Ward Grossman, Ray Zuberman, Mac McCormick and Zack Noble.  This was a great group effort.

The dam at 4:30 PM is open 30 inches and the lake is at 10 foot 10 inches

Dam Reduction

On Sunday, 6/13/10, the dam will be shut down to conserve water.  Will re-open the dam on Thursday (6/17) or Friday (6/18) depending on weather and how the valley looks.

Offical start of 2010 irrgating season (President- Tina Nelson):
*  Friday, May 28 dam turned on to 36"
*  Saturday, May 29 dam opened to 60"
*  Monday, May 31 dam opened to 72".   Lake level 12 foot.

URGENT: You need to work your water and don't delay, the lake is dropping 2 inches a day!!
                   Once every one is wet we will have a shut down for a short period .
